Planned activities include training in best production practices, quality management, and food safety, as well as support in obtaining internationally recognized certifications.
GMAP aims not only to strengthen the selected SMEs but also to create a multiplier effect within Mozambique’s aquaculture sector. Through this intervention, the project seeks to: (1) Increase the export capacity of aquaculture products, (2) Improve the quality and safety of food for local and international consumers, and (3) Contribute to job creation and food security in the country.
